Moneyjaw is the alias of Texas-born, LA-based producer and DJ Thomas Sahs. A longtime collaborator with deep underground roots, Sahs has spent years moving between live-electronic projects, studio sessions, and beat-driven experiments under various names. With Moneyjaw, he’s honed a lean, bass-heavy sound shaped by time spent in the LA and Miami scenes—focused, functional, and cut with a wry sense of character.
2025 has marked a turning point, with a run of sharp, club-ready releases in collaboration with Austin vocalist Zeale. Their debut, ‘Adderall / Imposter,’ introduced a stripped-back, vocal-led approach that landed with both personality and intent. Follow-ups, ‘Visions’ and ‘Go’ pushed the formula further, earning early support from selectors in the US and Europe.
Whether solo or collaborative, Moneyjaw’s output reflects years in the game: tight production, smart sampling, and a clear sense of what works in the room. With more music on the way and a growing presence across digital and vinyl channels, he’s quietly becoming a name worth tracking.
