Switzerland-based project JOHANNSON, led by Nenad Jovanovic, makes his debut on the EG Spotlight series with EG Spotlight.333, now available on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. With over twenty-five years connected to electronic music, the project brings together long-standing DJ experience and a studio approach focused on groove, melody, and emotion.

The mix unfolds with a measured pace, building a warm and fluid journey that reflects JOHANNSON’s musical identity. Moving between his own productions and carefully selected cuts, the session balances dancefloor momentum with a more reflective tone, allowing space for atmosphere and contrast without forcing intensity.

The tracklist features music by JOHANNSON, Mariline, Tony Cortez, Grupo Enkele, Papayatropical, UN*DEUX, Jude and Frank, Sllash and Doppe, Loz Seka, Ramon Bedoya, and Angel Heredia, alongside several original productions that define the project’s sonic direction.

Inspired by early synth pioneers such as Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Giorgio Moroder, and Jan Hammer, JOHANNSON approaches music with a focus on emotional contrast. His motto, “It’s all about mixed emotions,” informs both his productions and DJ sets, shaping a sound that connects movement with introspection.
