Outwards has unveiled the full lineup for its first edition, set to take place in Manchester on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. The open-air event will span multiple connected spaces in Ardwick.
Positioned as a day-into-night gathering, Outwards will host 5,000 attendees across five outdoor areas in the city centre. The concept focuses on connecting different eras of electronic music, bringing together established acts and newer voices under one program.
The lineup features Orbital performing live, alongside Octave One, Paranoid London, The Orb, A Certain Ratio, Factory Floor, and Tom Middleton. Additional appearances include Annabel Fraser, Black Grape, Danielle, DJ Pierre, Josey Rebelle, LTJ Bukem, Midland, rRoxymore, Natalie Robinson, OK Williams, Pearson Sound, Phil Hartnoll, Sons of Acid, Suze Ijó, Tarzsa, The Grid, and Urbi.
A key highlight comes in the form of Moodymann and Carl Craig, who will play a back-to-back DJ set. The program also includes Midland b2b rRoxymore, adding another collaborative moment to the schedule.
Framed around the idea of exploring the past, present, and future of electronic music culture, the event brings together live performances and DJ sets across a compact, multi-space format in central Manchester.
