Texas-born DJ and producer JJ Grant steps into the EGR Record series with a session rooted in progressive house, organic textures, and melodic movement. Available now on SoundCloud and Mixcloud, the mix reflects the artist’s long-standing connection to electronic music alongside a parallel career in aviation.
Grant’s relationship with club culture began in the late ’90s, spending time around DJ booths and lighting setups before eventually taking control of the decks himself. While life later led him toward becoming a corporate pilot, music remained a constant focus. Over the last 13 years, he has released productions and remixes through labels including Massive Harmony, Mistique Music, Suffused, Clinique, Mystic Carousel, Silk Angel, Elliptical Sun, Magic Room, LuPS, BC2, OLD SQL, and PHW.
His session moves through deep progressive grooves, breakbeat touches, and atmospheric melodic cuts with a patient sense of flow.
