Beatport has launched ‘Track ID,’ a new music discovery feature built into the Beatport mobile app that allows DJs to identify tracks in real time across club, festival, and live recording environments.
Designed specifically for dance music settings, the tool is capable of recognising pitch-shifted transitions, layered blends, remixes, edits, and noisy live recordings. According to Beatport, Track ID uses AI-powered audio cleaning technology alongside advanced beat-matching tolerance and multi-track detection to improve identification accuracy in complex DJ scenarios.
Once a track is identified, users can access it through a dedicated Track ID history section within the app, where tracks can be previewed, saved to playlists, streamed, or purchased directly.
The feature is now live for Beatport mobile app users and marks the platform’s latest expansion into DJ-focused music discovery and workflow tools.
