Joe Claussell has revisited Emanuele Cisi’s ‘Pharoah’s Message,’ transforming the composition into a new collection of Sacred Rhythm remixes available now.

Originally featured on Cisi’s album ‘Rushin,’ the piece draws inspiration from the spiritual and modal traditions associated with figures such as Pharoah Sanders and John Coltrane. For the remix project, Claussell deconstructs the original recording and rebuilds it across a series of extended interpretations that combine live instrumentation, percussion, and dancefloor-focused rhythms.

The release includes ‘Joaquin Joe Claussell’s Sacred Rhythm Epic Journey’ and ‘Joaquin Sacred Arts Drummers Cosmic Dub,’ while a forthcoming one-sided 12-inch edition will introduce ‘Joaquin Joe Claussell’s Alternate Sacred Rhythm Version.’

Bridging jazz, Afrocentric rhythmic traditions, and house music, the project expands on the themes introduced in ‘Rushin’ while opening the composition to new listening environments through Claussell’s long-running Sacred Rhythm vision.
