Victor Ruiz has released his debut studio album, ‘VICTOR’, marking a new chapter for the Brazilian-born, Lisbon-based artist. Out now via his own VOLTA imprint, the 14-track record sees Ruiz expand beyond the techno sound that established his reputation, embracing a broader palette that incorporates melodic electronica, house, breakbeat, ambient textures, and cinematic composition.

The album follows a series of singles that introduced different stages of its narrative, including ‘Silence’, ‘Alone’, ‘Sundance’ featuring Perry Farrell, and ‘Technicolor’. Together with the remaining tracks, the full release explores themes of personal transformation, identity, and self-authorship through an interconnected listening experience rather than a collection of standalone productions.

Additional collaborations include Echo Romeo on ‘Nature Rewards Courage’, Luke Cusato on ‘Better Days’, Enrico Minelli on ‘Skyfall’, Tao Andra on ‘You Deserve It All’, and spiritual teacher Ram Dass on the closing track, ‘The Great Mystery’.

For Ruiz, ‘VICTOR’ represents both his first full-length album and a creative shift that places songwriting and storytelling at the forefront while maintaining electronic music as its foundation.
