Friends and family of Berlin-based techno producer Jamaica Suk have launched a medical fundraiser following a serious health emergency.
Jamaica is currently in intensive care in Brandenburg after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of triple-negative breast cancer that has metastasised to her spine and liver. Her sisters have travelled from California and the Philippines to be with her during treatment.
As a touring musician, Jamaica currently has no income while she is unable to work. The fundraiser has been created to help cover housing, medical insurance, studio costs, and upcoming medical expenses, allowing her to focus on treatment and recovery.
Those organising the campaign are keeping further details limited to protect her privacy. Updates on her condition and the fundraiser will be shared through the official GoFundMe page.
