Maceo Plex has returned to his Ellum imprint with ‘The Plan’, his first release following an extended break from new music.
The two-track EP presents contrasting sides of the producer’s work. Its title track is a club-focused collaboration with Baby Monsta, while ‘Lonely Drive’ moves toward a more Balearic direction.
Maceo Plex described the record as an attempt to represent two distinct parts of his sound. A video supporting the release was filmed during the Lone Romantic showcase held in June 2026.
‘The Plan’ also begins a new period of activity for the artist. He has confirmed that further music announcements will follow over the coming weeks and months.
