Jimi Jules has released ‘Whisper To Me’, a new collaboration with Swedish duo Modern Tales, via Innervisions.
The track began with an unused bass sample originally recorded for ‘Trippy Yeah’. Jules developed the idea while travelling by train before testing the first version during a show that same night, where its direction and energy became clear.
‘Whisper To Me’ moves through a retro-futurist setting shaped by longing, movement, and communication. Its production combines detailed percussion and shifting textures with a vocal-led approach, balancing emotional tension with a direct dancefloor pulse.
