For EG TECHNO.161, Brooklyn based DJ, producer, and promoter bbbBbBB takes control with a set shaped by years spent moving through very different corners of club music.

Over the past 15 years, his approach has been built less around a fixed genre than around the dance floor itself. That experience now runs through regular appearances across New York at Public Records, Night Club 101, Jupiter Disco, and Honey’s, alongside his own work curating parties across the city.

That range sits at the center of his EG TECHNO debut. The mix moves through tense percussion, techno, electro, bass heavy club music, and flashes of raw pop energy, connecting tracks from Luca Durán, DJ Lag, Anthony Naples, Joey Beltram, The Hacker, Jacques Greene, and others.

There is also a clear sense of history running through the selection. Plastikman’s unmistakable ‘Spastik’ sits alongside Joey Beltram’s ‘Universal Mind,’ while newer material from FKA twigs, Sega Bodega, and Jacques Greene keeps the set firmly in the present.

bbbBbBB also inserts his own edit, pairing Ken Ishii with Lil Baby, Four Tet, Skrillex, and Fred again.. It is the kind of collision that says plenty about the thinking behind the mix, familiar records are treated as material to be reshaped, redirected, and placed into a new club context.

Across EG TECHNO.161, bbbBbBB presents a restless, physical session that draws from a wide record collection without losing its sense of direction.
