Hercules & Love Affair has unveiled the official video for ‘My Journey’ featuring Hips & Lips, taken from ‘Danseur PT 1’, now available via Stratasonic Records.
Directed by Miguel Rodriguez, the film stars Stephen Smith, Kaleb “KABO” Jacobs, and Leandra Atenea Levine Hidalgo. Its narrative follows the track’s themes of coming out, transformation, uncertainty, and self-discovery.
‘My Journey’ forms part of Andy Butler’s two-part ‘Danseur’ project, which explores stories drawn from LGBTQ+ life. The first installment also includes ‘I Get High’, ‘The Eyes of Love’, and a cover of Book of Love’s ‘Boy’.
‘Danseur PT 2’ is scheduled for September 10th, with contributions from Faris Badwan, Hips & Lips, and Albrecht Van Doornik. The project was created alongside Elín Ey of Hips & Lips and Quinn Whalley of Paranoid London.
