Australian artist and producer JVLY has released ‘Still Drowning In My Room’, a reimagined version of a track originally featured on ‘SUNDER’.

While the earlier version leaned into a slower blend of R&B, soul, and electronic textures, the new interpretation returns to the song’s original form. Built around shimmering synths, punchy guitars, and a funk-driven groove, it restores the energy of the early demo that preceded the final ‘SUNDER’ arrangement.

“Funny thing is, STILL DROWNING IN MY ROOM is actually how the song was born,” JVLY explains, describing how the track initially emerged at this tempo before being stripped back into the half-time groove heard on the original.

The release continues the build toward JVLY’s forthcoming ‘SUNDERLUXE’ EP, conceived as a parallel counterpart to ‘SUNDER’.
