The 12+1 London gang was back last weekend in London since last performing in 2019, as many of the showcases were canceled or postponed due to the pandemic, Christmas included. The imprint was founded in London 7 years ago in 2014, since then u z z v and the label artists have been traveling around the globe performing in countries such as Germany, United States, Colombia, Turkey, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico and many more.
The iconic fabric was the chosen venue for the anticipated return of 12+1 London, last Sunday. The club is one of London’s premier venues, hosting weekly lineups featuring the foremost names in electronic music. It is also known for its purpose-built, three-room layout and world-class soundsystems. A nighttime event kicked off with an opening set at 10pm from Romanian Mara LeFay. The Rominamal vibes made for a perfect warm-up for the next label artist, Nicola Brusegan. The Venice-born artist played an only vinyl set mixing house, deep-tech and breaks to an almost full capacity room two.
The legendary British DJ and the new label artist Alex Arnout performed after the Italian. During his set he tested the upcoming tracks that are to be released on his upcoming vinyl at the end of this year by 12+1 London. The chief u z z v was ready to share his vibes until the closing with his intoxicatingly groovy tracks mixing his other artist’s concept as UNAI. An alter-ego which only releases physical records and focused on the finest electronic underground selection.
During the showcase, the crowd enjoyed the latest releases from the label signed by Lucianno Villarreal who produced the first EP of 2022 in addition to upcoming ones from artists such as F.eht, Konov, or Kevin Deep. The crew returned back home early but will be on tour around South America from February.
