Another Taste have released their second full-length album, ‘Another Taste II’, via Space Grapes. The eight-track project builds on their debut with a focus on analogue recording and live performance.
Recorded to tape, the album blends boogie, funk, and disco influences while expanding the group’s collaborative approach. The release follows a run of performances across venues such as KOKO London, Jazz Café London, Tresor Berlin, and festivals including Love Supreme, Lost Village, and ADE.
‘Another Taste II’ introduces denser arrangements and a broader sonic palette, while incorporating a fictional narrative thread. The project also features Arp Frique and the Perpetual Singers on ‘Peace Call’, alongside contributions from a full brass section.
The album was engineered and mixed by Bobby van Putten, with mastering by Frank Merritt. Artwork and design come from Timo ter Braak, Walt van der Veen, and Robert Reinartz.
