Apple launches new AirPod Max headphones

The item will cost US$ 529.

Apple’s AirPod Max will hit stores just before this Christmas. The Cupertino-based brand has announced its first on-ear headphones, which feature ‘high-fidelity audio, adaptive equalizer, active noise cancellation, and spatial audio’. In addition, its charging autonomy is 20 hours, whether to talk on the phone, listen to high-quality audio, or watch movies without hearing external noise.

Apple-designed headphone drivers are 40mm, with memory foam ear cushions, and are powered by Apple’s H1 chip. This last component has 10 audio cores, which can handle 9 billion operations per second and provide a computational audio-based experience

The AirPod Max will be available in five colors: silver, space gray, navy blue, green, and pink. To be able to use them, it must be installed on macOS 11.1, iOS 14.3, iPadOS 14.3, watchOS 7.2, or tvOS 14.3 devices or later.

The headphones will go on sale starting December 15th.
