Jen Cardini and Shonky are marking the 20th anniversary of ‘August In Paris’ with a new edition featuring three remixes and a re-release of the original.
First released through Mobilee Records in 2006, the record will return via Cardini’s Correspondant label. The anniversary package includes reinterpretations from Kasra V, Jennifer Loveless, and Jump Source.
The original became associated with the minimal sound of its era through a stripped-back combination of bleeps, hypnotic grooves, and vocals. Its new edition revisits the material two decades later through three distinct contemporary versions.
The digital release is scheduled for August 28th, 2026, with a vinyl edition expected around September 11th.
