Brooklyn duo Beacon have announced their fifth studio album, ‘How drie a Cinder,’ scheduled for release on August 7th, 2026, through their own Apparent Movement imprint. The electronic act has also shared the record’s lead single, ‘Cinder.’
To support the upcoming release, Thomas Mullarney III and Jacob Gossett will join Chet Faker as the opening act on his upcoming tour across the United States and Canada, with stops at Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, and New York.
The first single, ‘Cinder,’ transitions from a minimal music box melody into a 130 BPM rhythm driven by heavy kick drums and atmospheric synthesizers. It showcases the duo’s signature blend of club-ready production and structured, melodic songwriting.
Formed at New York’s Pratt Institute, Beacon have spent 15 years developing their sound. The pair previously released material on prominent electronic labels including Ghostly International, Kompakt, and Get Physical Music, while securing high-profile sync placements with HBO and Netflix.
The album arrives later this year. Pre-order it here.
