David Mayer has made his debut on the EG Podcast with EG.1069, a personal mix led by his latest release, ‘Essence’, out now via SONARA Records.
Raised across Germany, Spain, Norway, and later Berlin, where he settled in 2004, Mayer has built a musical identity shaped by movement, culture, and instinct. His work connects house and techno through a direct pulse, guided by groove, depth, and musical character.
Across his career, Mayer’s productions have landed on Connected Frontline, Ouïe, Objektivity, Gruuv, Audiomatique, Keinemusik, and SONARA, the label he co-founded alongside Tooker, Jay Kurahashi Sofue, and Nico Stojan.
