Detroit-based artist, DJ Holographic just launched her new label, ‘Through The Veil.’ The first release will be ‘Taurus’, a track filled with interstellar vibes that hark back to Detroit’s vibrant 1960s funk scene.
Following last month’s release of ‘Aries’, ‘Taurus’ is part of DJ Holographic’s ambitious new project, which reflects her deep connection with astrology, a discipline she believes has brought her transformative healing experiences.
‘Through The Veil’ will act as a platform for this deeply personal work. Each month, the label will release a new track that corresponds to a zodiac sign, aligning with the artist’s tour dates.
A prominent figure in Detroit’s burgeoning artistic landscape, DJ Holographic has gained international recognition and the respect of industry veterans. Her music intertwines Afrofuturism from Detroit techno with her experiences as a conscious, queer woman. Her upbringing and exploration into shadow work, a therapeutic practice that reveals suppressed aspects of oneself, form the basis of this innovative project.
