DJ Shadow will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his landmark album, ‘Endtroducing…..,’ with a special orchestral performance at London’s Barbican Hall on December 18, 2026,
For the special occasion, the American producer will collaborate with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, under the direction of conductor Jules Buckley, for a one-off concert. The performance will feature a full orchestral version of the 1996 LP, utilizing new arrangements of selected tracks.
The project expands on the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s history of crossover events with Jules Buckley. The pairing has previously produced collaborative concerts with electronic and contemporary artists like Jon Hopkins.
Originally released via Mo’Wax Records, ‘Endtroducing…..’ is widely recognized as a definitive milestone in instrumental hip-hop and sampling culture. The performance marks a rare return to the material for the California-born artist, whose latest studio album, ‘Action Adventure,’ arrived in 2023.
