Francis Mercier has announced his debut album, ‘Lakay’, alongside the release of its latest single, ‘Champagne’, created with Massala and LexBlaze. Out now via Solèy, the new track offers another preview of the forthcoming LP, which is scheduled for release on July 14th, 2026.
Built around Mercier’s melodic Afro house sound, ‘Champagne’ combines the vocals of London-based artist LexBlaze with production from North African producer Massala. The result is a club-focused record drawing on African electronic influences while reflecting the multicultural approach that has become central to Mercier’s work.
Meaning “Home” in Haitian Creole, ‘Lakay’ is described as Mercier’s most personal project to date. Inspired by his upbringing in Port-au-Prince and shaped by years of international touring, the album explores ideas of identity, belonging, and connection across cultures.
The announcement arrives as Mercier prepares for a busy summer that includes his Solèy residency at Hï Ibiza, dates in Mykonos, Montreal, Egypt, Lebanon, and Los Angeles, and the continued expansion of the Solèy brand through events and releases worldwide.
