Berlin-based independent artist and producer Laura Korinth has released her first fully self-produced mini-album, ‘Lethe: Between the Worlds.’
The project forms part of her ongoing mythic cycle, continuing a conceptual framework featured across print publications. Korinth engineered, produced, and mixed the entire release independently.
‘Lethe: Between the Worlds’ blends cinematic sound design, analog grit, and digital futurism, drawing inspiration from science fiction, mythology, and gaming. Her production style utilizes layered synth textures alongside structured rhythmic pacing to establish atmospheric depth.
For Laura, the album ‘Lethe’ symbolizes transformation and artistic freedom through the conscious release of stagnation, leading to inner peace and creative renewal as represented by the outro, ‘Here (Makaron’s Salvation).’ This thematic journey is deeply rooted in her background in therapeutic pedagogy and music therapy, which frames music as a vital process for reflection, healing, and personal growth.
Aligned with the release, the artist also shared the music video for ‘Bride,’ which weaves in ancient myths and poems to channel that journey of self-liberation. Watch it here.
Korinth previously contributed to the creative process of Boris Brejcha’s Gold-certified single ‘Gravity’ via Ultra Records before moving into full independence. Her live profile includes appearances at Volksbühne Berlin and Zurück zu den Wurzeln Festival.
