Czech electronic duo BratÅ™i has unveiled their sophomore album ‘Escape.’ The twin brothers, OndÅ™ej and Jiřà Veselý have crafted a sonic journey blending urban energy with natural serenity.
‘Escape,’ available on vinyl with eight tracks and digitally with two bonus songs, showcases BratÅ™i’s evolution since their debut ‘Two Minds’ three years ago. Jiřà Veselý explains, “We aimed for a cohesive experience, so our tracks now span from techno to progressive techno, glitch, experimental techno, and IDM (Intelligent Dance Music). My brother and I believe we’ve seamlessly integrated these styles in ways we couldn’t have imagined three years ago.” Tracks like ‘Gilda’ and ‘II’ highlight the duo’s growth, demonstrating their skill in crafting intricate textures and atmospheric soundscapes.
The LP’s production, helmed by BratÅ™i themselves, received its final polish from German producer Hannes Bieger, a collaborator since 2020. The German artist’s touch adds refinement while preserving the raw, energetic essence that defines BratÅ™i’s sound.
Building on the success of singles ‘Blocks’ and ‘Neon,’ ‘Escape’ is a living, breathing entity designed to complement BratÅ™i’s electrifying live performances. The duo has been making waves across Europe’s festival circuit, with appearances at Colours of Ostrava, Sziget, and Cooltural Festival.
