Listen to the new Giolì & Assia’s album ‘Fire, Hell And Holy Water’

It’s their third studio-long play.

Italian duo Giolì & Assia have shared their much-anticipated ‘Fire, Hell And Holy Water’ album. The new full-length record is already available via Ultra Records.

According to them, ‘Fire, Hell And Holy Water’ is their most ambitious album to date, featuring 16 new original cuts. Named after a well-known local Sicilian saying, the record documents their turbulent and intense highs and lows as a couple, and the health problems and untimely losses of relatives during the pandemic.

“As female writers and producers, we have accomplished everything entirely by ourselves,” explains the duo, who believe it is “important that the album makes a statement, and that people know it’s our own”. Having dealt with the notion of dance music being a boys-only club, the new album signifies Gioli & Assia rising up against misogyny.
