Milan-based artist Matisa has released ‘1234 Bisous,’ her latest single blending hypnotic vocals with sophisticated tech-house production. The track previews her anticipated LP ‘In My Head,’ scheduled for release on January 31st, 2025, through Seth Troxler’s Slacker 85 label.
‘1234 Bisous’ showcases Matisa’s evolving artistic vision through its euphoric rhythms, acid-tinged textures, and delicate piano arrangements.
Drawing from personal experience, Matisa crafts a compelling narrative of romance and serendipity in her lyrics: “Un, deux, trois, quatre bisous, I was keeping just for you, But then I wake up in a boom, Just a lad lays in my room.” The track captures the bittersweet emotions of relationship transitions—the melancholy of endings intertwined with the thrill of new beginnings.
A rising star in Italy’s electronic music scene, Matisa has performed at venues like Berghain, fabric, and Circoloco. Her uplifting house sound, influenced by ’90s rave culture, has garnered support from notable labels including Gudu Records and Optimo.
