Moog introduces all-in-one modular synth line

Sound-Studio combines the DFAM with either the Mother-32 or Subharmonicon semi-modular synths.

Leading synth manufacturer Moog has unveiled their Sound-Studio, a series of all-in-one modules that bundle 2 of their Moog synths with different accessories. The launch of the series is accompanied by the release of an EP using either of the Moog Sound-Studio combinations, featuring tracks by artists of Bonobo, Dan Deacon, and Julianna Barwick.

Moog’s Sound Studio line comes in two versions, as the brand pairs the DFAM percussion synthesizer with either the polyphonic Subharmonicon or the mono Mother-32. Both bundles come with a new mixer, cable organizer, power distribution, and booklets with exercises, games and other educational material.

The Mother-32 option goes for US$1,399 and the Subharmonicon version is US$1,449.
