Native Instruments CEO Nick Williams has addressed the company’s entry into preliminary insolvency proceedings, confirming that daily operations continue unaffected.

In a statement published January 29th, 2026, on the company’s official blog, Williams emphasized that “business continues as usual” across Native Instruments and its associated brands—including iZotope, Plugin Alliance, and Brainworx. All hardware and software remain available and fully functional, with customer support and development teams operating normally. He also confirmed that Kontakt Player licenses and NKS Partner submissions are being processed without interruption.

The restructuring affects Native Instruments GmbH and three German holding companies, which have entered a court-supervised process under German pre-insolvency law. The filing is designed to allow internal restructuring while maintaining operations and long-term viability.

Williams positioned the move as a proactive step toward securing a “healthy, financially sustainable future,” reiterating the company’s commitment to customers, partners, and creators. He concluded by reaffirming both his personal connection to the brand and its broader mission.

“I’m a lifelong musician myself,” he wrote. “And have been a passionate fan of Native Instruments for 25 years. Our mission to inspire and enable creators to express themselves through sound continues.”
