The event returns to Florida after a one-year hiatus and management change.
The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is back this March 5th-8th, bringing heaps of international talent to the over 800-acre Sunshine Grove, Miami, north of Lake O. This is known as one the most beautiful stops in the camping-festival scene. This will be the first time Insomniac Events takes over the organization.
Performers will take three main stages known as Be, Here and Now. You can get you beach-time on at Aquachobee, some late-nite raving in the woods of Jungle 51, and check out inspired mash-ups of different acts during the PoWoW sessions. And, just like in past editions, there’ll be plenty of places to meditate, do yoga, and find yourself in spiritual exploration.
Over 100 acts are set to perform, with Rûfûs Du Sol headlining on Thursday; Bassnectar will do the same on Friday; indie rock outfit Vampire Weekend on Saturday and folk-rockers Mumford & Sons will be doing their thing on Sunday. The bill also includes a plethora of varied acts from electronica to rock and everything in between, including Clarian, Derrick May, Kaskade, Nora en Pure, Behrouz, Moon Boots, Soul Clap, Haim, Sublime With Rome, Blood Orange, Bob Moses, Atomyard, Mathew Jonson, Alison Wonderland, San Holo, Ellen Allien, and Maya Jane Coles, just to name a few.
Electronic Groove artist Atomyard will be also part of the celebration, be sure to dance with him at Jungle 51 on Friday 6th at 7 PM.
You can get your tickets here, also check the list of items permitted on-site.
Performances will take place around the clock from Thursday to Sunday on the three stages and the night club in the woods, Jungle 51. You can check out the day-by-day schedule below.
