Acclaimed duo Polo & Pan, known for their ‘French Touch,’ present their latest EP entitled ‘Carrossel Do Tempo.’ This project showcases their exploration of musical influences from around the world while marking a significant evolution in their style.

The EP begins with the majestic trumpets of the title track, ‘Carrossel Do Tempo,’ which introduces the captivating vocals of Brazilian artist Abrão. The introspective French pop treatise, ‘Chamallow,’ reflects on love and family. ‘Charanga’ sets the stage for a nocturnal jungle rave in South America, accompanied by mischievous sprites and an aura of mystery. Closing the release is ‘Nagori,’ a breezy and infectious pop charmer that evokes the ambiance of a relaxing poolside hangout as the late summer sun sets below the horizon. The title itself references a Japanese term that captures the transient melancholy experienced as a fleeting moment comes to an end, a sentiment that lingers as the record concludes.

‘Carrossel Do Tempo’ was a collaborative effort, written and recorded across different parts of the world skillfully blending diverse cultural references. The EP’s arrangements and strings were directed by Italian composer Daniele Luppi, renowned for his work with Danger Mouse, John Legend, Gnarls Barkley, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Polo & Pan will be performing at Art With Me Miami on December 9th, 2023. For more info and tickets click here
