Two of the three tracks were written during the quarantine.
After releasing âRattleâ in 2019, Irish DJ and producer RebÅ«ke returns to Adam Beyer’s label with âObscurityâ. In his sound, we hear a lot of industrial drums, rippling synth effects, percussion bursts, low-end melodies, energetic drum lines, a bit of techno funk, and much more.
On what inspired him, RebÅ«ke explains the following: âI felt that ‘Obscurity’ would be an appropriate title for my second Drumcode EP. It represents the state of being unknown, unclear, or difficult to understand – feelings that I am sure most of us are going through at the moment. (…) This EP is my favorite to date, as I think it shows a different side of my musical paletteâ.
