An auditory exploration of the future of humanity.

Inspired by an unpublished speech by French explorer Jacques Yves Cousteau in which he discusses the rapid extinction of humanity in case of not taking drastic measures, Robot Koch worked on a new album ‘The Next Billion Years’.

With a reflective air, the artist wonders what the future will be like and tries to find answers through music. In this sound exploration, he collaborated with the famous director Kristian Järvi, to create moving tracks together.

In this new single, ‘Kassel’, the German artist mixes futuristic electronic soundscapes alongside the poignant strings of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, with excerpts from the 1973 Cousteau recording. All of this fusion is summed up in one powerful and emotionally ideal song. for our times.
