DJ and producer Spatial Awareness has released his latest musical journey, EG SPOTLIGHT.297, now streaming on EG’s SoundCloud and Mixcloud platforms.
From established names to emerging talents, the tracklist includes contributions from The Director, Djebali, Mochakk, Jean Jacques Smoothie, Tara Busch, Ron Flatter, Jake Beautyman, DJ Rap, R33DY, Wallace, Punx Soundcheck, Ascii.Disko, Princess Superstar, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Roots Manuva, The Woodentops, Jerome Hill, Anna Prior, George Daniel, Melé, Josh Caffe, and Cameo.
Spatial Awareness is a versatile artist blending indie, soul, techno, and disco influences. He blends acid, disco, techno, and house with influences from dub, film scores, electronica, post-punk, and classic rock. His style has led to performances at diverse venues, from Spain’s Benicàssim Festival to underground LA parties, and from BBC 6 Music Festival to London’s Ministry of Sound.
His musical journey began in Canvey Island, Essex, influenced by his DJ brothers and diverse genres. He started DJing at 15 in Essex clubs before expanding to production and live electronic performance.
Spatial Awareness’s upcoming projects include remixes for Princess Superstar, The Woodentops, and Ladytron, an album on Blow Up Records, and a collaboration with vocalist ROY INC.
