Thomas Bangalter, one-half of Daft Punk, has just shared details of his upcoming solo LP entitled ‘Mythologies’. The new studio record is his first solo album since the French duo split back in 2021 and will be available on April 7th, 2023.

Bangalter began working on ‘Mythologies’ in 2019 and was originally written for the Angelin Preljocaj-choreographed ballet of the same name, which premiered at the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine.

The new record spans over 23 tracks and embraces “the history of orchestral ballet music” as Bangalter explores “humankind” after being immersed in the world of technology for the past 30 years.
