On July 17th, a special open-air music celebration took place at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, where French music ambassadors, Air and Phoenix, performed at the Terminal 1 rooftop.
The event which was exclusively live streamed on Prime Video and Amazon Music’s Twitch brought a notable reunion when Air invited Gordon Tracks from Phoenix to perform ‘Playground Love,’ for the first time together in 20 years. The hit single was originally released in 1999 and featured in Sofia Coppola’s debut movie ‘The Virgin Suicides.’
Named ‘Terminal 1 – Le meilleur de la French Touch’ also featured appearances of Étienne de Crécy, Inès Mélia, Benjamin Diamond B2B Alan Braxe, and Izzy Lindqwister.
