The DJ Awards are set to return to Ibiza on October 2, 2024, after a four-year hiatus. This event will unfold at the Club Chinois venue in Ibiza’s Marina.
Under new ownership and backed by significant investment, the 2024 ceremony marks a fresh chapter for the DJ Awards. This revitalized edition aims to honor the best in electronic music, with winners chosen through public voting across various categories.
The event kicks off at 10:30 PM, with the awards ceremony running from 11:30 PM to 12:30 AM. BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar and Ibiza’s Katie Knight will co-host, with Knight conducting exclusive backstage interviews.
At 12:30 AM, the afterparty begins with a star-studded lineup. Luciano, recipient of the Ibiza Icon Industry Award, will showcase his minimal techno. Joining him are nominees Cristoph, Mathew Jonson, Ben Sterling, and local talent Manu Gonzalez.
The awards will cover a diverse range of categories, including International DJ of the Year 2024, House, Drum & Bass, Techno, Progressive House, Organic House, Afro, and Trance.
Chinois, the chosen venue, provides the ideal backdrop for this illustrious event. Its opulent ambiance, state-of-the-art 360-degree screens, and cutting-edge sound system promise to elevate the experience for both attendees and performers alike.
Founded in 1998 by José Pascual and Lenny Krarup, the DJ Awards have long been a cornerstone of recognition in the electronic music industry. This 2024 edition not only celebrates the past year’s achievements but also heralds an exciting new era for these iconic awards.
