George FitzGerald has just shared new details about his incoming studio album, ‘Stellar Drifting’. The new record is scheduled for release on September 2nd, and will be available on CD, LP, and Deluxe LP.
Signaling a progression in both scope and composition, FitzGerald’s upcoming ‘Stellar Drifting’ addresses the need to confront one’s inner world and escape the sense of restriction and finds the artist turning to space for inspiration, forming the building blocks of the album from space images and audio from space probes.
In line with the announcement, FitzGerald also shared ‘Cold’, the first single to stem from ‘Stellar Drifting’. Considered his “most immediately accessible moment to date”, the single showcases an instantly memorable vocal line to immerse the listener in an interstellar voyage.
