Justice, the renowned French electronic duo, has just released the music video for their latest single, ‘Generator.’ The track is part of their upcoming album, ‘Hyperdrama’, scheduled for release on April 26th, 2024 via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.
In this video, Justice explores the intersection of humanity and technology, presenting a thought-provoking depiction of a sensual encounter between two humanoid robots. The video complements the seamless fusion of disco and hardcore techno that defines the song. Justice, along with director Léa Ceheivi, delves into the exploration of sexuality in the age of advanced technology.
Ceheivi explains, “We were excited to recreate the concept of a phenomenon from the 2000s, such as a sextape, but with a unique twist. Our aim was to capture the raw aesthetic and the feeling of losing control. In our world, AI robots can also experience pleasure and embrace ‘la petite mort.'”
Furthermore, Justice has been announced as headliners for the upcoming Field Day Festival and will also be performing at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where they will unveil their new live show. These performances add to their already busy schedule of festival appearances, with more dates to be announced in the near future.
