Kölsch presents his fourth album ‘No Here No Where’

The album is now available Via Kompakt.

Techno artist Kölsch has unveiled his fourth studio album, ‘Now Here No Where’. The release marks the Danish DJ and producer’s fourth LP, following his trilogy ‘1977’, ‘1983’ and ‘1989’.

For the Kompakt mainstay, ‘Now Here No Where’ is an album ‘about hope’. It’s a twelve-track sonic journey made up of meticulously rendered techno, which sees the Danish DJ and producer charting new grounds. Throughout the record, we hear cinematic passages, Gregorian chants, piano chords, robotic synthesizers, and more.

“I tend not to follow formulas when making music, if anything I would say it was more of an anti-formula. I didn’t want any boundaries to restrict me, so I made exactly what I felt there and then. Other than the main concept and core of the track, there were no rules at all.

Not being able to perform has given me a time of pure creativity, it’s all I have these days”, he added.

This release is Kölsch’s most honest and personal album to date. Due to its versatility, the album adapts to listening at home as well as playing at the club.
