London’s legendary nightclub Fabric will remain closed after the license suspension done by the Islington Town Hall.
The club had recently closed in August when two partygoers died in drug related incidents. The support to keep it open was immense and included several high profile artists as well as London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Islington South and Finsbury MP Emily Thornberry.
The mayor made previous comments stating, “Clubbing needs to be safe. There have been two tragic deaths at Fabric over recent months and there are clearly issues that need addressing.”
The final result of the review is the license will remain suspended.
In the past days the club shared a public petition against their closure at Change.org, encouraging supporters and fans to sign it and making emphasis on Fabric’s importance on London’s nightlife culture.
