Italian duo Mathame will bring back their immersive NEO residency to Amnesia Ibiza this summer, following the success of last year’s debut. Taking place on August 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, the four-part series promises a deeper, more atmospheric experience, blending cinematic visuals with raw techno soundscapes.
Known for their forward-thinking approach, Mathame will transform the iconic venue into an abstract dimension of light, shadow, and sound, with fog-filled spaces and fire-lit movements creating an intense sensory journey. “NEO has evolved, just like the audience,” the duo said. “We are ready to create something even more immersive, emotional, and timeless.”
With its industrial and cyberpunk aesthetic, Amnesia remains the ideal setting. “It’s like stepping into a world between The Matrix and Fist of the North Star,” they added. “A place where we can experiment, innovate, and push forward.”
Mathame describe NEO not just as a club night but a movement rooted in underground culture—a ritual that breaks away from trends in favor of emotional connection and sonic exploration.
