Peggy Gou and Madonna have joined forces for a new remix of ‘I Feel So Free,’ the lead single from Madonna’s forthcoming ‘Confessions II’ album.
The new version pairs Madonna’s vocals with Peggy Gou’s club-focused touch, shaping the track around ’80s-inspired drums, synth bass, and bright electronic hooks. The remix also marks the first official rework from the ‘Confessions II’ era.
‘Confessions II’ is Madonna’s 15th studio album and follows her 2005 release ‘Confessions On a Dancefloor.’ Stuart Price, who produced the original album, is also involved in the new project.
The original version of ‘I Feel So Free’ was released on April 17th. The remix follows the May 14th reveal of the ‘Confessions II’ tracklist, which appeared through a guerrilla poster campaign in several major cities.
