Riverside authorities cancel Coachella festival

This is the 3 consecutive cancelation since the pandemic.

The famous Coachella festival will not be held in April as California’s Riverside County health authorities have issued a public order canceling the festivals scheduled for that month due to the current health situation with the COVID-19 pandemic in the US state.

It is the third time that the festival has been canceled after the 2020 edition was first postponed to October and finally canceled. No official statement has been made by festival authorities on the matter, so it unknown whether they will try to celebrate this year’s edition next fall or if they will simply wait for the situation to change by the summer of 2022.
