Following a four-year hiatus, Seth Troxler & The Martinez Brothers’ Tuskegee Music is back on the scene with the release of its new EP, ‘Sex & The City’.
Written in collaboration between producer/DJ HoneyLuv and Tuskegee Music’s own Seth Troxler, ‘Sex & The City’ samples Chicago house legend Paul Johnson’s 1998 ‘So Much’ for a seductive outing built on a blend of sleek synths, deep basslines, and rhythmic percussion, encapsulating Tuskegee’s ethos of honoring the roots of dance music.
“To even be in the same room with Seth is an honor but to collaborate with him on a track is a dream come true. Seth has been one of many of my inspirations during this journey of mine. This song is definitely the essence of what house music is and what the future will be and I’m so happy Seth was able to help create that with me,” said HoneyLuv about the new collaboration.
Meanwhile, Paul Johnson’s state added, “Tuskegee, HoneyLuv, and Seth Troxler have been successful in planting a flag victoriously in favor of honoring house music history, legacy preservation, and the global community with this release, and the Paul Johnson Estate is grateful to be working alongside such tastemakers of artistry, musicianship, and dance music industry equity.”
