Raised in Baltimore and now based in Los Angeles, Life On Planets has built a distinctive voice at the intersection of house, R&B, funk, and live instrumentation.

As the solo project of singer, songwriter, and guitarist Phill Celeste, his catalogue spans releases with labels including Defected, Tuskegee Music, and Dirtybird, alongside collaborations with Soul Clap, DJ Minx, Butch, Desert Hearts, and more.
More recently, Life On Planets became a central figure in Dirtybird’s Flight Week writing camp, contributing to ‘Flock Tapes Vol. 1’ through a series of collaborations that showcase his soulful songwriting and unmistakable vocal style. He now returns to the stage for Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights, taking place July 17th-19th, 2026.
